Stone Shapes

Two of the most common shapes you will see in a cemetery are dies and markers. A serpentine top die is the most recognized shape for gravestones. Grass markers are another very common shape, they are set into the ground so the top is level to the grass. Many stone shapes are set on a base to support them, slants can be set with or without, while markers are set into the ground.
